NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Five Saint Anselm College student-athletes were selected to the Northeast 10 Academic All-Conference team for the 2025-2026 winter season, announced on Tuesday.
Two seniors on the men's ice hockey team, Luke Linart and Cam Collins, seniors Christian Wetzel and Rebecca Cady of the men's and women's track & field teams, and junior Elise MacNair of the women's basketball team were all selected to the NE10 Academic All-Conference Team.
To be eligible for the NE10's Academic All-Conference Team, student athletes must have been named to their sport's All-Conference Team's (First, Second, Third, or Defensive), they must have spent at least two consecutive semester at their institution as a full-time student, and they must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30.
A total of 101 student-athletes were selected across the league, highlighted by Bentley University, leading the NE10 with 23 selections, followed by Southern Connecticut State University with 21. Women's indoor track led all winter sports with the most selections at 23 student-athletes.
Collins earns academic recognition after receiving All-Conference First Team at the end of his senior season. Following his performance in post-season play, scoring one goal for the Hawks, Collins was named to the All-Championship Team alongside Linart. He made appearances in 32 games, scored 10 goals, and 24 assists over the season.
Linart highlights his season with a selection to the NE10 All-Conference Second Team in addition to his academic recognition. This winter, the senior reached a career-high in goals (12), assists (16), and points (28), ranking him fifth in the NE10 in goals and seventh in points. Over this season, Linart appeared in 32 games, scored 13 goals, and had 16 assists. With 126 games played to his credit, Linart holds the program and NE10 record for games played in a career.
Wetzel earned a third-place finish in the men's 4 x 800-meter relay at the NE10 Conference Championship, posting a time of 8:04.15. The senior also earned two top-10 finishes at the championship in the 800-meter clocking a PR time of 1:58.89, and the mile with another PR time of 4:27.72.
Just last week, Cady was honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, receiving All-Region recognition following her performance in NE10 Championship. Cady competed in four events in the conference championship, earning three top-5 finishes highlighted by a championship title in the women's 4 x 400-meter relay.
MacNair earned her first All-Conference nod this season and was selected to the NE10's All-Conference Third Team. She started in 16 games this season, leading the NE10 in minutes per game at 35.9. As second on the team in scoring, she averaged 13 points per game while ranking second on the team in field goal and three-point percentage.
