MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College Department of Athletics raised $325,617 in gifts in a record-breaking success during the eighth annual #HawksSoarHigher Challenge. As the featured sub-campaign of the College's annual Days of Giving, friends, family, faculty, staff, alumni and fans were invited to participate in the challenge from Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11 with the goal of raising funds to improve and enhance the student-athlete experience on the Hilltop.
The department aimed to receive 2,520 gifts this year, an expectation that was exceeded by 111%, reaching 2,810 donors. The previous record for money raised through the athletics-specific challenge was set in 2024 with $276,011 raised.
The Saint Anselm College baseball team led the way with 375 donations received over the two-day campaign, raising $41,366 for their program. Following them was football who earned 312 donations, and volleyball who received 190 donations throughout the Days of Giving.
All money raised throughout the #HawksSoarHigher challenge will directly fund program enhancements for their respective teams including team travel and equipment upgrades, as well as other enhancements to the overall student-athlete experience.
Saint Anselm's overall Days of Giving campaign raised $1,657,236 in total with gifts from 4,358 donors, which includes the 2,810 #HawksSoarHigher Challenge gifts.
