Montgomery Reaches the National Qualifying Mark, Running a 21.48 in the 200m

BOSTON – Sophomore Logan Montgomery of Saint Anselm College reached the national qualifying mark in the 200m dash, and freshman Gavin Lombara earned a first-place finish at the Riverhawk Invitational.

Men's Track

  • Montgomery had an outstanding showing in the 200m, running a 21.48, hitting the national qualifying mark. 

  • Lombara earned a first place finish in the 200m, clocking in at 22.11. He was closely followed by freshman Ray Kwiatek, who ran a 22.21.  

  • Sophomore Luke Manzi recorded his personal best in the 5000m, timing a 16:56.70 run.  

  • Both sophomore Daniel Leet and junior Christian Wetzel achieved PRs on Saturday, running 1:59.39, and 2:00.21, respectively in the 800m race.  

  • The Hawks finished the day off with a strong performance in the 4x400m relay, finishing in 7th place, running a 3:20.37.

The Hawks will be back next weekend at the Crimson Open, hosted by Harvard University, and the Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
