How it Happened
Saint Anselm fell behind 8-0 and trailed by as much as 13, 20-7, early in the first half. Guidinger checked in off the bench and scored nine points in less than two minutes to bring the Hawks back within four points, 24-20. Back-to-back threes from sophomores Isaiah Griffin and Ristic tied the score up at 28-28, and a late three from the Setters had Pace in front, 31-29 at the half.

The Hawks started the second half on an 8-2 run to take their second lead of the game, 37-33, and held on to a slight edge up until the 9:38 mark when a Pace three-pointer gave the Setters a 50-48 edge.

Pace sank another three-pointer to go up five, and would go up by as much as nine, 65-56, with 1:43 remaining in the game. A late rally by the Hawks made it a one-possession game with five seconds left as Saint Anselm had a shot to tie it, but an errant pass went the Setters way as they held on for the win, 69-66.
