BOSTON – The Saint Anselm College women's track & field team put in a team effort from start to finish to earn the runner-up title in the Northeast 10 Conference for the first time in program history.
Southern Connecticut State University took first-place, earning 247 points as a team with the Hawks following behind them, taking home silver with 101.50 points overall, becoming the first team in program history to post a second-place finish.

Junior Rebecca Cady earned a spot on the podium, finishing third in the 60-meter dash recording 7.83. Cady also gave a strong performance in the 400-meter dash, clocking a 58.17 race and finishing in fourth place.

Freshman Makayla Kokonezis secured the top spot on the podium, jumping 1.55m in the high jump, creating a new career best. Behind her for the Hawks was sophomore Petrina Ofori in fifth place who cleared 1.50m and freshman Greta Hartung who jumped 1.50m, setting a PR.
