BOSTON – Sophomore Logan Montgomery broke a Northeast 10 Conference Indoor Championship record that had stood for 15 years as the Saint Anselm College men's track & field team earned a fourth-place finish after two days of competition at the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday.
Southern Connecticut State University took home a first-place finish overall with 241 points, following them was Adelphi University with 104 points, Assumption University took third-place with 95 points. Over the course of the Championship, the Hawks jumped from sixth-place to fourth-place, totaling 78 points for their first top four finish as a program.
Men's Track

Sophomore Leo Sheriff was the first Hawk to podium on Friday, earning bronze in the men's 60-meter hurdles, timing in at 8.19, matching the personal record he set last weekend.

Freshman Gavin Lombara set a new PR in the hurdles at 8.49, securing a fourth-place finish. The freshman also set a career-best mark in the 60-meter dash at 6.97, breaking the 7.00 mark for the first time.

Four Hawks put together another third-place finish, this time in the 4x400-meter relay race with sophomore Hunter Beaudoin, junior Brady Ash, junior Sam Jones, and freshman Ray Kwiatek racing to a 3:19.01.
Men's Field

Freshman Trevor Hunter earned a fifth-place finish in the triple jump, reaching 12.92m and setting a new career-best. Sophomore Hannington Senfuma also set a new personal-best in the triple jump, clearing 12.39m.
Men's Heptathlon

Hogan participated in the men's heptathlon, with competitions from day one spilling over into day two, as the sophomore finished in second place with 4,536 points. Hogan placed first in three events including the long jump, reaching 6.61m, the shot put tossing 13.18m, and the high jump clearing 1.90m. Hogan also had a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash at 7.19, and placed fifth in the 1000-meter run.
