How it Happened

Franklin Pierce took an early three-point lead, 8-5, but that would be their final lead of the game as Saint Anselm ended the quarter on an 18-4 run, making seven of its next eight shots, as the Hawks led 23-12 heading into the second.

The Ravens made just two field goals in the second quarter thanks to stout defense by the Hawks, with Saint Anselm increasing its lead to 20 at the half, 39-19. Forbes led the team with 13 first-half points.

After a cold shooting stretch from beyond the arc in the first half, the Hawks went 4-6 from long range in the third, increasing their lead to 27 points, leading 59-32 with 10 minutes to play.

The Hawks led the rest of the way, securing the NE10 win and regular season series sweep over the Ravens, 74-49.
