WORCESTER, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's ice hockey team was blanked on the road by Assumption University on Friday night, dropping a 4-0 decision in Northeast 10 Conference play at the Worcester Ice Center.

- Senior Cam Collins went 20-for-23 (86.9%) at the faceoff dot as Saint Anselm won 44-of-70 (62.9%) of all draws taken.
- Collins led the team with seven shots on goal.
- Freshman Nolan King notched a team-high three blocks, followed by classmate Nolan Davis with two.
- Junior netminder Cam Carroll made 26 saves before senior Tucker Hanson recorded 11 over the final 19:02 of action.
How it Happened
Assumption struck first with a goal at 3:13 of the opening period, as Jake DiNapoli scored with assists from Brett Cunningham and Caden Connors to put the Greyhounds on top.
In the second period, the Greyhounds extended the lead on the power play when Leo Piandes found the back of the net at 12:23, assisted by Jonathan Surrette and Shane McElhaney. Just over a minute later, McElhaney added to the advantage with a power play tally of his own, giving Assumption a 3-0 cushion through two frames. The hosts put the game out of reach early in the third, as Surrette scored his second of the night at 15:41 to complete the scoring.
