SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Saint Anselm College men's ice hockey team was defeated by Saint Michael's College on Friday night, 2-1, in Northeast 10 Conference play at Cairns Arena.
How it Happened
Saint Michael's took a 1-0 lead with 8:52 to play in the first as Nick Wracker found the back of the net.
The Purple Knights increased their lead to two goals just 4:33 into the second period as Brayden Naumann scored on the power play.
Rogles scored 2:18 following the second intermission as a shot from the point was deflected out in front and into the back of the net.
Despite eight additional shots put on goal by the Hawks, Purple Knights goaltender Evan Plunkett made every stop to secure a 2-1 victory.
