As the first half waned, Xintaropoulos found himself in the spotlight, scoring two goals in quick succession, just over a minute apart at 43:26 and 44:38, giving the Hawks a commanding 3–0 lead heading into halftime.
After intermission, Saint Anselm continued to dominate possession and chances. At 76:40, Prouty scored off a pass from Jones, stretching the Hawks' advantage to 4–0.
Then in the 82nd minute, Prouty struck again, this time with Delia delivering the assist, to make it 5–0 and seal the emphatic win.
