MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm College Interim Director of Athletics Phil Rowe announced the hiring of Nick Perenick as the institution's Director of Athletic Communications, effective immediately.

Perenick is tasked with leading the communications efforts for the Hawks' 23 varsity athletics programs. Under his leadership, the Athletic Communications team will manage the athletics website, produce marketing materials, develop social media content, and use top-of-the-line video production tools to enhance the game day experience and extend the College's reach in the region and the nation.

"We are thrilled to welcome Nick Perenick to Saint Anselm," said Rowe. "Nick brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and passion for storytelling that will elevate the profile of our athletic programs and student-athletes. We look forward to the energy and innovation he will bring to our department."

"I am grateful for this opportunity to join the athletics staff," said Perenick. "It is clear that Saint Anselm is a special place, and I look forward to promoting the successes of our student-athletes, coaches, and campus community in the years to come."

Perenick comes to the Hilltop following a two-year stint at Rivier University where he served in the same role. While at Rivier, he made a significant impact as the primary media contact for the Raiders' 15 NCAA Division III varsity programs.

At Rivier, Perenick upgraded the live streaming experience by introducing multiple camera angles and incorporating play-by-play and color commentators on broadcasts. In addition, he spearheaded the launch of a new user-friendly website with SIDEARM in Spring 2025, providing a more user-friendly interface with streamlined access to team information for fans, alumni, and student-athletes.

Additionally, Perenick was instrumental in revitalizing Rivier's social media strategy by reimagining media day and game day photography, which helped elevate the University's athletics brand.

Prior to his stint in Nashua, Perenick held positions as the Director of Athletic Communications at Nichols College and was a graduate assistant at Suffolk University.

Perenick is a 2020 graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Sports Journalism. He also earned a Master's degree in Communications with an Advertising and Public Relations track from Suffolk in 2022.

Perenick resides in Somerville, Mass. with his wife, Monica.
