NE10 Outdoor Championship Day Two Recap: Nicolosi Earns Gold as Women Finish Fourth

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm women's track & field finished fourth at the NE10 Outdoor Championship, earning seven total medals—including four on the final day. The Hawks compiled 117.5 points, while Southern Connecticut State claimed the title with 246 points, finishing 101 ahead of the next closest team.

UP NEXT: 

  • Saint Anselm heads to Amherst, Massachusetts for the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships, with day one of competition set to begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 9th.

HIGHLIGHTS (DAY TWO):

  • Freshman Reese Nicolosi (Pelham, N.H.) captured a gold medal in the 400m hurdles, clocking a career-best time of 1:02.61. 

  • Nicolosi also teamed up with freshman Sam Ducharme (Bedford, N.H.), freshman Petrina Ofori (Hudson, N.H.), and junior Rebecca Cady (Lowell, Mass.) to earn silver in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:55.69. 

  • Ofori added an individual bronze in the 400m hurdles, running a career-best 1:05.30.

  • Ducharme chipped in with a fifth-place finish in the 800m (2:20.37), matching her preliminary time exactly. 

  • Cady scored points in both sprints, placing sixth in the 100m (12.39) and fifth in the 200m (25.59). 

  • Cady, Nicolosi, Ducharme, and sophomore Mia Cruz (Nashua, N.H.) also placed fifth in the 4x100 relay with a time of 48.95.

  • Sophomore Ava Houle (Litchfield, N.H.) claimed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 11.17m.

  • Senior Ava O'Donnell (Raynham, Mass.) earned her second bronze of the meet in the 800m (2:19.04) and added a fourth-place finish in the 5000m (19:08.44).

  • Junior Brianne Rett (Uxbridge, Mass.) finished fifth in the shot put with a career-best toss of 12.22m. 

  • Sophomore Sophia Morin (Brunswick, M.E.) placed seventh in the shot put (11.33m), adding to her earlier career-best performances in the javelin, securing a silver medal, and hammer throw.

  • Junior Isabelle Cody (Ayer, Mass.) placed fifth in the 3000m steeplechase (13:42.34).

  • Sophomore Meredith Pasquarosa (Beverly, Mass.) finished fifth in the 400m hurdles (1:07.46).

  • Sophomore Sophia Olsen (Rochester, N.H.) took seventh in the 5000m (19:16.25) and set a new personal best in the 1500m (4:59.91). 

  • Sophomore Shaylee Owens (Norton, Mass.) finished seventh in the heptathlon with 3,104 points, notching personal bests in the 100m hurdles (17.45), 200m (30.10), long jump (4.92m), and the 800m (2:57.51).
