NE10 Outdoor Championship Day One Recap: One Medal, Multiple Top Qualifying Times for Men's Track & Field

MANCHESTER, NH –Saint Anselm men's track & field wrapped up day one at the NE10 Outdoor Championship with one medal and multiple other top times ahead of the final races tomorrow. 


UP NEXT: 

  • Saint Anselm will compete again tomorrow with events beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 3rd. 


HIGHLIGHTS (DAY ONE):

  • Freshman Mubeshire Bradshaw (Littleton, Mass.) tied for third in the pole vault, clearing 4.00m.

  • Junior Jaidin Haynes (Sayreville, N.J.) posted the fastest qualifying time in the 100m dash at 10.78, a career-best, and scored points in the long jump with a leap of 6.86m, placing seventh.

  • Freshman Logan Montgomery (Weare, N.H.) led the field in both the 400m and 200m prelims, qualifying for the finals with times of 48.56 and 21.38, respectively.

  • Senior Kaleb Lewis (Austin, Texas) also earned a spot in the 200m finals with a time of 22.13.

  • Freshman Leo Sheriff (Beverly, Mass.) advanced to the 110m hurdles finals after clocking a career-best 15.05.

  • Sophomore Brady Ash (Kingston, N.H.) qualified for the 400m hurdles finals with a time of 57.62, nearly a second better than his previous career-best. 

  • The 4x800m relay team of sophomore Clifford Teixeira (Nashua, N.H.), graduate student Chris Hogan (Plymouth, Mass.), Christian Wetzel (Pembroke, Mass.), and freshman Luke Manzi (North Andover, Mass.) finished fifth with a time of 8:16.89.
