NEICAAA Recap: Morin, Nicolosi Earn All-New England Honors

AMHERST, N.H. – The Saint Anselm women's track & field team finished 21st at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships, earning 7 points. Two student-athletes secured All-New England honors with top-eight finishes in their respective events. UMass Amherst led the field with 136 points, finishing 44 ahead of the next closest team.


UP NEXT: 

  • Saint Anselm gets set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 22–24 at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado.


HIGHLIGHTS (DAY ONE):

  • Sophomore Sophia Morin (Brunswick, Maine) earned All-New England honors with a fourth-place finish in the javelin, recording a throw of 39.02 meters on her first attempt. 

  • Freshman Reese Nicolosi (Pelham, N.H.) also claimed All-New England recognition, placing seventh in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.12.

  • Freshman Erica Korowski (Hudson, Mass.) also competed in the javelin, recording a distance of 36.13 meters on her second attempt.

  • Freshman Sam Ducharme (Bedford, N.H.) ran a career-best in the 400m, finishing in 59.09 seconds.

  • Sophomore Ava Houle (Litchfield, N.H.) competed in the triple jump, reaching 10.48 meters.
