NEICAAA Recap: Five Earn All-New England Honors at NEICAAA Championships

AMHERST, MA –The Saint Anselm men's track & field team placed 24th at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships, earning three points. Five student-athletes secured All-New England honors with top-eight finishes in their respective events. UMass Amherst claimed the team title with 119.50 points, finishing 32.50 points ahead of the nearest competitor.

  • Saint Anselm gets set to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 22–24 at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado.


HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The Hawks placed seventh in the 4x100m relay, with the team of freshman Joseph D'Angelo (Pembroke, Mass.), senior Bowen Lewis (Austin, Texas), senior Kaleb Lewis (Austin, Texas), and junior Jaidin Haynes (Sayreville, N.J.) finishing in 41.88 seconds to secure All-New England honors.

  • Haynes and D'Angelo also competed individually in the 100m, with Haynes posting a career-best 10.67 and D'Angelo following closely at 10.97.

  • Freshman Mubeshire Bradshaw (Littleton, Mass.) earned an eighth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 4.19m on his first attempt to set a new personal best and lock in the final spot in the All-New England team. 

  • Freshman Parker Gleckman (Atkinson, N.H.) recorded a mark of 12.80m in the triple jump.

  • Freshman Hunter Beaudoin (Sandown, N.H.) and sophomore Samuel Jones (Salem, N.H.) ran the 200m, finishing in 22.42 and 22.45, respectively. In the 400m, Jones edged Beaudoin with a 51.18, while Beaudoin clocked a 51.27.

  • Sophomore Brady Ash (Kingston, N.H.) competed in the 400m hurdles, finishing in 59.82.
