DURHAM, NH –Saint Anselm men's track & field braved rainy conditions at the Jim Boulanger Invitational, marking their second meet of the outdoor season. Despite the weather, several Hawks recorded strong performances across the various events.

Freshman Colin Burns (Beverly, Mass.) recorded a career-best mark in the hammer throw at 41.14m, placing ninth.

Junior Kyle Pierce (Jamestown, R.I.) matched that distance with a hammer throw of 41.14m but edged out Burns for eighth place by the slimmest of margins.

On the track, junior Christian Wetzel (Pembroke, Mass.) set a new personal best in the 1500m, finishing in 4:16.20.

Graduate student Chris Hogan (Plymouth, Mass.) was just a second behind at 4:17.54, coming within two seconds of his career mark.

Junior Andrew Keene (Kennebunk, Maine) posted a personal best in the 5000m, clocking a 16:26.90.

Sophomore Brady Ash (Kingston, N.H.) earned a fourth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 51.82.

Freshman Mubeshire Bradshaw (Littleton, Mass.) placed in the top ten in two events—clearing 4.00m in the pole vault and reaching 5.28m in the long jump.
