NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. –Saint Anselm men's track & field wrapped up their final meet before the NE10 Outdoor Championship in May with a strong showing at the Merrimack College Alumni Classic. The Hawks earned two first-place finishes, alongside several other impressive performances across various events.

Saint Anselm is set to compete in the NE10 Outdoor Championship on Friday, May 2nd. The event will be hosted by SNHU, marking the third time this season the Hawks will make the trip across the river to compete there.

Seniors Kaleb Lewis (Austin, Texas) and Bowen Lewis (Austin, Texas), freshman Joseph D'Angelo (Pembroke, Mass.), and junior Jaidin Haynes (Sayreville, N.J.) claimed first place in the 4x100m relay, finishing with a time of 42.15.

Freshman Logan Montgomery (Weare, N.H.) won the 100m in his first collegiate appearance in the event, clocking in at 10.54. He also set a career-best in the 200m, placing third with a time of 21.49.
HIGHLIGHTS:

Sophomore Anthony DeGloria (Canton, Mass.) set a career-best in the discus with a throw of 35.90m, improving by over four meters from his previous mark. He also recorded an 11.64m toss in the shot put.

Junior Kyle Pierce (Jamestown, R.I.) notched a career-best in the hammer throw, reaching 44.34m—a three-meter improvement—earning him a fourth place finish.

Sophomore Logan Guttadauro (Danvers, Mass.) also set a personal best in the hammer, throwing 43.58m for fifth place. He added a 34.33m mark in the discus.

Junior Christian Wetzel (Pembroke, Mass.) ran a career-best 4:12.21 in the 1500m to place sixth, followed closely by junior Neil Harrington (Malden, Mass.), who also set a personal best with a time of 4:12.50 for seventh.

Jaidin Haynes added to his win in the 4x100m with a third place finish in the long jump (6.67m).

Freshman Parker Gleckman (Atkinson, N.H.) claimed second in the triple jump (12.89m) and took fourth in the long jump (6.56m).

Freshman Hunter Beaudoin (Sandown, N.H.) posted career bests in both the 100m (10.93) and 200m (22.12), placing fourth and sixth, respectively.
