Crimson Open Round Up: Men's Track & Field

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's track & field team competed at the Crimson Open on Saturday February 8th.  

UP NEXT: 
  • Saint Anselm will travel to Boston Massachusetts for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday February 14th into Saturday February 15th.
HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Junior Jaidin Haynes (Sayreville, N.J.) continued to show strength in the 60-meter dash grabbing a time just short of his school record last week with a 6.89. 
  • Peter Hogan (Newport, N.H.) competed in the high jump event grabbing a mark of 1.90 meters. 
  • In the weighted throw field event Colin Burns (Beverly, Mass.) and Kyle Pierce (Jamestown, R.I.) each grabbed successful marks with Burns finishing just further with a 13.75 meter mark and Pierce tabbing a 13.62 meter mark. 
  • Sophomore Anthony DeGloria (Canton, Mass.) also competed in the field events registering a 11.41 meter mark in the shot put. 
  • In the 400 meter run freshman Daniel Leet (Bridgewater, Mass.) grabbed a time of 51.37. 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Burns grabbed a personal best in the weight throw this weekend with his 13.75 meter mark.
