MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's volleyball team fell in three sets to Bentley University in a non-conference matchup at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium on Tuesday.

- Bentley, who is receiving votes in this week's latest AVCA Coaches' Poll, has defeated Saint Anselm in 12 consecutive matchups as the Hawks fall to 3-42 all-time against the Falcons.
- Junior Hollyn Frano led the Hawks with 12 kills and nine digs, while freshman Mckenna O'Connell recorded 23 assists with three kills on just six attempts for a .500 attack percentage.
- Junior libero Madeline Burke paced Saint Anselm with 11 digs on the back line to go with four assists.
- Junior Sam Pila had seven kills and seven digs with a team-high two blocks, one solo, and one block assist.
How it Happened
SET 1 | After starting off the match with six consecutive points, Bentley controlled the entirety of the first set, winning the frame, 25-14. Frano led the Hawks with three kills in the set, but Bentley recorded a .385 attack percentage on 12 kills and just two errors to secure the 1-0 lead.
SET 2 | Saint Anselm answered with a strong start in the second, leading 6-2, but the Falcons came right back with six straight scores to take the lead, 8-6. Bentley led the rest of the way in the second, winning 25-17.
SET 3 | Another early run put the Falcons in front 6-0, and Bentley maintained its advantage through the final point, winning the match 3-0 with a 25-21 set win. The Hawks had their best attacking set of the match, recording 17 kills on a .255 attack percentage, and despite a late rally that made it a three-point game, 24-21, Bentley prevailed for the sweep.
