HOOKSETT, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men's ice hockey team played to a 1-1 tie against Queen City foe Southern New Hampshire University in a Friday night Northeast 10 Conference clash at the Ice Den.

How it Happened
Both teams scored their only goal of the game in the second period, as Kurt Watson recorded the contest's first tally, striking 4:56 into the frame. The Hawks would tie things up 6:13 later as junior Patrick DeMarinis scored with helpers coming from senior Will Rosen and freshman Sebastian Rogles.
Junior goalie Cam Carroll made 17 stops in the final 28:51 of regulation to keep the game level heading into overtime, where he made six additional saves.
After a scoreless overtime, which included a Saint Anselm powerplay, senior Garrett Alberti scored the lone goal of the shootout, which does not alter the NE10 standings.
