WALTHAM, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College women's volleyball team dropped its Northeast 10 (NE10) opener on the road at the Dana Center to Bentley University, 3-1, falling to 6-5 on the season.

- Bentley, who is receiving votes in this week's latest AVCA Coaches' Poll, has defeated Saint Anselm in 11 consecutive matchups as the Hawks fall to 3-41 all-time against the Falcons.
- Sophomore Taylor Lacerda led the Hawks with 10 points on 10 kills, also dishing out one assist with eight digs.
- Freshman Mckenna O'Connell had her eighth double-double of the season, tallying 29 assists and 11 digs with two kills and two service aces for four points.
- Junior Miia Dembski recorded eight kills, two digs, and two block assists in the conference matchup.
SET 1 | Bentley took an early 4-0 lead in the opening frame, but seven straight scores from the Hawks gave Saint Anselm a 9-7 advantage. The Hawks led the rest of the way in a closely contested set, winning 25-23, led by four kills from Lacerda, including the set-clinching point.
SET 2 | Saint Anselm opened the second set with three straight scores, but the Falcons halted the run, scoring five of the next six points to take a one-point lead. Bentley clung to a slight lead as the set went back-and-forth until a 10-2 run by the Falcons put them ahead, 21-12. The Bentley lead proved insurmountable, tying the match at 1-1 with a 25-17 set win.
SET 3 | A pair of early kills sparked a scoring outburst for the Falcons in the third frame, catapulting Bentley to a 14-5 lead. The Falcons controlled the third set, winning it 25-12 to take a 2-1 match lead.
SET 4 | Bentley scored the first eight points of the fourth set as the Falcons held their largest lead of the match at nine points, 10-1. The Hawks continued to fight, cutting the deficit to five points at three different stages in the frame, but the margin was too wide, as Bentley won the set and the match, 25-16.
