How it Happened
The Wildcats got on the board in the 11th minute when a Wildcat attacker pulled Swidorski out of the box and sent a crossing pass to Kaitlyn Wright as she fired on an open net to put Daemen up 1-0.
The Hawks tied it in the 23rd minute off a long pass sent upfield by sophomore
Aramys Jimenez, with Muir collecting the ball and beating two Wildcat defenders as Daemen's goalkeeper came out of the box allowing Muir to sneak a shot into the bottom right corner for the equalizing goal.
In the 60th minute, a corner kick sent in by Schneider led to a quick exchange of passes between her and Patturelli, who connected with Botta as she rifled a right-footed shot past the goalkeeper to put the Hawks up 2-1.
Crowley's game-winning goal came in the 66th minute and came off a deflected shot from freshman
Addison Jerome, before finding the foot of Crowley, who fired the loose ball into the back of the net to put the Hawks up 3-1.
In the 90th minute, Daemen's Taylor Fiegel had a shot go off the hand of Swidorski, bounce off the cross bar, and then trickle into the net to give the Wildcats their second goal of the game, but the Hawks held on for the victory.
