Saint Anselm Track & Field Competes at River Hawk Invitational on Friday & Saturday

BOSTON, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's track & field team competed at the River Hawk Invitational on Friday and Saturday with several notable finishes.
 

UP NEXT: 
  • Saint Anselm will travel back to Boston for the John Thomas Terrier Class on January 31st into the 1st of February next weekend. 
HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Junior Jaidin Haynes (Sayreville, N.J.) and freshman Logan Montgomery (Weare, N.H.) competed in the 60-meter dash, with Haynes grabbing a time of 7.07 and Montgomery finishing just behind with a time of 7.12.
  • Montgomery also competed in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.01.
  • In the 400-meter freshman Hunter Beaudoin (Sandown, N.H.) and sophomore Brady Ash (Kingston, N.H.) finished next to each other with Beaudoin grabbing a time of 51.74 and Ash tabbing a 52.01.
  • Freshman Danny Leet (Bridgewater, Mass.) finished with a time of 2:01.88 in the 800-meter event.
  • In the distance realm, senior captain Steven Cormier (Reading, Mass.) competed in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:33.10 while sophomore Adam Holodowski (Milford, N.H.) ran in the 5000-meter with a time of 16:02.34.
  • Freshman Peter Hogan (Newport, N.H.) tabbed a height of 1.91 meters in the high jump.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Hogan grabbed a 12th place finish with his high jump mark, while Holodowski grabbed 27th in the 5000-meters.
  • Beaudoin placed 10th in the 400-meter, with Ash grabbing 12th place.
