MANCHESTER, N.H. – The accolades continue to roll in for seniors Riley DiGilio (Danvers, Mass.), Josie Pecor (Williston, Vt.), and Allison Silverstein (Concord, N.H.) of the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team. All three student-athletes have been selected to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Division II All-New England teams, the organization announced.

Voted on by NCAA Division II coaches from colleges and universities throughout New England, selected student-athletes were placed on either the First Team or the Second Team. Each team contains three or four forwards, midfielders, and defenders along with one or two goalkeepers.

DiGilio and Silverstein earned First Team NEWISA All-New England honors, while Pecor was honored with a spot on the Second Team.

"The 2024 NEWISA All-New England Team highlights the best student-athletes from colleges and universities in the region," said NEWISA President Tom McGuinness. "These players represent many of the most talented collegiate players in the country. They have pushed their teams to success on the field and we are proud to recognize them for all they have achieved. NEWISA congratulates all these players for a tremendous season."

DiGilio, who earns NEWISA All-New England distinction for the second time in her career, was also a United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team pick earlier this year. The Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team selection finished her career with a bang in her final season on the Hilltop, setting single season career-highs in goals, assists, and points. Across 18 starts this past fall, the senior forward posted a team-best 10 goals and dished out five assists for a team-high 25 points. She ranked second in the conference in goals, was tied for sixth in assists, and was tied for second in points. She was also named the NE10 Player of the Week on October 21st following a two-goal game at Assumption. DiGilio wrapped up her career with 15 goals and 12 assists for 42 points while starting in all 62 games she appeared in across four seasons of play.

Silverstein earns NEWISA All-New England recognition for the second consecutive year. The midfield maestro was named to the United Soccer Coaches All East-Region Second Team as well as the NE10 All-Conference Second Team earlier in the year. The senior was a key cog in the style of play for Saint Anselm in the fall. She scored one goal and added one assist in her final season, but her impact went beyond the box score. She started in all 19 games and logged nearly 1,500 minutes, which was among the most on the team for field position players. Silverstein ended her illustrious career with six goals and three assists for 15 points in 64 games played, 48 of which she started.

Pecor earns a place on the NEWISA All-New England roster for the third straight season after being named to the First Team in 2022 and the Second Team in 2023. The two-time NE10 All-Conference selection started in 17 matches this past fall, recording four goals and four assists for a total of 12 points. Her goal and point totals were second-most on the team behind only DiGilio, while her assist total ranked third on the squad. The forward wrapped up her career with 15 goals and 14 assists for 44 points in 70 matches played, 58 of which she started.

Saint Anselm ended the season with an overall record of 5-4-10. They went 2-2-6 in conference play and earned a berth in the NE10 postseason for the fourth consecutive year as the No. 6 seed. The Hawks upset No. 3 seed and nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire in the Quarterfinals after winning in a penalty shootout before falling in the Semifinals to No. 2 seed and nationally ranked Franklin Pierce, 2-0.
