MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Monday, the Saint Anselm College field hockey team announced its schedule for the 2024 season.

Head coach Carolyn King-Robitaille will enter her 13th season at the helm for the Hawks. Saint Anselm ended their 2023 season with a 18-4 overall record and a Northeast-10 (NE10) conference record of 11-2. The Hawks concluded last year on a high note winning their final seven games, securing the second spot in the NE10 playoff rankings, and bringing home the NE10 Championship banner.

In the NE10 Quarterfinals, the Hawks prevailed over seventh-seeded Mercy University by a 4-1 final score. Saint Anselm would continue their playoff run in the semifinals topping Adelphi University by a 3-1 final. The Hawks season would end on the winning note defeating No. 1 seeded Assumption on their home turf by a 2-1 final. This was the second time in program history the Hawks have been crowned the NE10 Conference Champions.

The Hawks would go on to face Assumption in the first round of the NCAA tournament but fall by a 2-1 final to the Greyhounds.

Saint Anselm will add eight first years to their 2024 roster along with bringing back graduate student Maddie Davis, who tabbed a spot on the 2023 Synapse Sports Division II Second Team All-American as well as being named NE10 first team all-conference.

Saint Anselm will open their season with a weekend in Pennsylvania facing off against Kutztown on September 5th at 3:00PM and East Stroudsburg on September 6th at 4:00PM to open the 2024 field hockey season. The Hawks will seek to break the 1-1 historical tie with Kutztown. Saint Anselm will begin NE10 conference play at home against Adelphi University on September 20th with a 2:00PM start time. Other notable games this season include Southern New Hampshire on October 9th, Mercy on October 29th and a championship rematch on November 2nd against Assumption.
