Eight Hawks Earn USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honorees featuring eight student-athletes from the Saint Anselm College women's track & field team. The USTFCCCA awards All-Region distinction to the top-five individuals in each event from all regions as well as each member of the region's top-three relay teams. 

Sophomore Anyelina Martinez (Lawrence, Mass.) collected All-East Region honors for the 1,500-meter run. She clocked in at 4:32.82, a season-best for the Lawrence native, at the 2024 Northeast-10 (NE10) Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 3 to take home second place for Saint Anselm. This also marks her third All-Region distinction after earning All-East Region honors in the indoor season for both the 800-meter run and mile run. 

Junior Nora Conway (Stoneham, Mass.) earned All-Region recognition thanks to her performance in the 10,000-meter run at the NE10 Outdoor Championship meet. Conway posted a personal best of 39:51.92 to claim the fifth best time in the East Region. 

Sophomore Harmony Marquez (Rutherford, N.J.) and freshman Sophia Morin (Brunswick, Maine) each received All-Region distinction for the javelin throw. Both Marquez and Morin medaled for the Hawks at the NE10 Outdoor Championship meet in the javelin throw event. Marquez threw a season-best 41.75 meters to secure the second best mark in the East Region. Morin recorded a mark of 40.13 meters on Apr. 13 at the 5th Annual Penmen Relays to earn the fourth best throw in the East Region. 

Saint Anselm also saw four student-athletes receive All-Region honors for the 4x100-meter relay following their third place performance at the 2024 NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 10. The relay squad featuring senior Keiya Dion (Saco, Maine), sophomore Rebecca Cady (Lowell, Mass.), freshman Meredith Pasquarosa (Beverly, Mass.), and freshman Jennifer Baker (Essex, Mass.) posted a 47.90 to claim the third best time in all of the East Region.
