MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced the 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-Conference rosters on Wednesday afternoon featuring sophomore
Tatum Forbes (Pawtucket, R.I.) of the Saint Anselm College women's basketball team. Forbes, a Third Team All-NE10 selection, earns the first postseason accolade of her career and is the first Third Team pick for the Hawks since
Peyton Steinman '22 after the 2018-19 season.
Forbes had a strong debut campaign with Saint Anselm after transferring to the Hilltop prior to the academic year. One of three Saint Anselm student-athletes to finish in the top 11 in the conference in scoring, the sophomore guard averaged a career-best 14.7 points per game which was sixth-highest in the NE10. The Pawtucket native also averaged 34.6 minutes per game, a total that was second-most in the league.
Forbes demonstrated her ability to be an all-around player throughout the season by finishing in the top 20 in the conference in assists, rebounds, and steals. She was ninth in the NE10 with 3.1 assists per game as well as 1.7 steals per game on the defensive end. More impressively, Forbes hit the glass from the guard position and hauled in 6.1 rebounds per game, a total that ranked 19th in the league.
She also recorded eight games with 20 or more points and had three double-digit rebounding performances in 2023-24. Forbes' season-high and career-high of 28 points came during a non-conference win against Felician University on Dec. 30.
Forbes and the Hawks saw their season come to a close last Friday in the NE10 Championship's First Round after a close loss to American International College.
