Saint Anselm Finds Program Best Finish at NCAA Division II East Region Championship

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross-country team competed at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship on Saturday, finishing a program-best 12th overall.
 

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Sophomore Adam Holodowski (Milford, N.H.) led the pack for the Saint Anselm men's cross country team on Saturday tabbing 42nd place. The sophomore ran a time of 33:14.0 pushing past five runners in his finish.
  • The second Hawk across the finish line was junior Christian Wetzel (Pembroke, Mass.), who came in 53rd overall with a time of 33:35.7.
  • Rounding out the top three finishers for Saint Anselm was fifth-year senior Chris Hogan (Plymouth, Mass.), who took home 57th place with a time of 33:42.6.
  • The next three finishers for the Hawks included senior Steven Cormier (Reading, Mass.), in 71st with a time of 34:18.7, junior Andrew Keene (Kennebunk, Maine.) placing 74th with his time of 34:24.1, and senior Adam Wong (Westminster, Mass.) earning a 81st place finish with a time of 34:39.4.


INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • The program saw their best finish at the NCAA East Region Championships with 12th out of 18 teams.
