MANSFIELD, Mass. – Junior Gabby Turco (Wildwood, N.J.) of the Saint Anselm College women's basketball team earned Second Team All-Conference honors from the Northeast-10 Conference on Tuesday.

Turco averaged a team-leading 16.2 points per game, ranking fourth in the NE10, and also came through with 3.4 assists per game to rank eighth among the league's student-athletes. Her 39.2% field goal percentage (134-for-342) is ninth among qualifying NE10 competitors.

At the free throw line, Turco's 90.6% free throw percentage ranks 10th in NCAA Division II and second in the NE10. Making 125 free throws (fifth all-time, single-season history) on 138 chances this season, she ranks first in single-season Saint Anselm history (min. 100 made) in free throw percentage (90.6%).

Scoring over 20 points on 12 occasions, Turco did not miss a single free throw in 15 of her 26 games this season. On Jan. 21 against Southern Connecticut State, Turco became one of just two student-athletes (Peyton Steinman '22) in team history since at least the 2001-02 season to accomplish that.

In total, she missed no more than three free throws in a game all season (9-for-12 at Post, 12/16). She also scored a career-high 28 points this season, doing so at home against Adelphi on Nov. 19. Turco also collected 11 rebounds, matching a personal-best total, versus American International on Feb. 7.

She collected NE10 Rookie of the Year honors last season while also earning Third Team All-NE10 and All-Rookie Team distinction. Across 54 career games at Saint Anselm, Turco is averaging 15.9 points and ranks second all-time in career free throw percentage (198-for-227, 87.2%), third in points per game, and third in minutes played per game (34.0).
