MANCHESTER, N.H. – Head coach Larry Rocha '79 has revealed his team's schedule ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The Hawks skated to a 13-12-2 record overall and a 10-6-2 mark in Northeast-10 Conference tilts, earning them the second seed for the conference postseason tournament. Saint Anselm returned to the postseason and hosted a first round game for the first time since the 2018-19 season.

"We were able to book a challenging schedule for the 2022-23 season in which we play 32 games and in two tournaments, the Castleton Thanksgiving Tournament and the Oswego New Year's Tournament." said Rocha. "We have a good squad this year that is up to the challenge."

Rocha's squad is set to play 20 NE10 contests and they will meet Assumption, Franklin Pierce, Post, Saint Michael's, and Southern New Hampshire four times each with two home games and two road games. 12 non-conference games will bring the Saint Anselm schedule to 32 games this winter.

Saint Anselm opens its season in a Queen City Cup battle at Southern New Hampshire on Friday, Oct. 28 from the Ice Den in nearby Hooksett, N.H. It also serves as the team's conference opening game. The Hawks will have their home opener the following night when they host the University of Southern Maine, marking the only non-conference game in the team's first eight contests.

The Hawks have a pair of tournaments they are scheduled to play in with the first coming on Friday, Nov. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 26 from Castleton University. The Hawks will play Buffalo State on Friday before batting either the hosts or Franklin Pierce the next day.

A pair of home games against Southern New Hampshire on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3 mark the final games for the Hawks for the fall semester. Saint Anselm returns to action at the Oswego State tournament on Friday, Dec. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 31 for their second tournament of the season. In their second game in Oswego, N.Y., Saint Anselm will either play Williams or the reigning NCAA Division III men's ice hockey National Champion, Adrian.

Saint Anselm plays its first home game of the 2023 calendar year on Saturday, Jan. 7 when they host Worcester State, which starts four consecutive home games for the Hawks. One of those tilts will be against NCAA Division I Stonehill College in a rematch of last season's NE10 Quarterfinal contest.

Six of the team's final 10 games will be played from the friendly confines of Sullivan Arena with their final home game set for Valentine's Day. The Hawks will against host Stonehill before concluding the 2022-23 regular season with a pair of road games at in-state foe, Franklin Pierce, on Friday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 19.
