TOWNSEND, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's golf team sits in 11th place out of 16 teams competing at the Franklin Pierce University Men's Fall Invitational on Sunday. The Hawks will be back in action on Monday, Sept. 19 to conclude the two-day invite.

Senior Drew Semons (Danvers, Mass.) carded an opening score of 73, producing three birdies to rank 10th in the crowded field as an individual. Senior Lucas Dascoli (Everett, Mass.) shot a 79, logging two birdies to rank second among Saint Anselm golfers.

Sophomore Michael Papamechail (Danvers, Mass.) shot a 10-over 80 and junior Robbie Forti (Danvers, Mass.) produced an 18-hole score of 81. Freshman Anthony Picano (Reading, Mass.) shot an 85, but did complete the 135-yard third hole in two shots.

Southern New Hampshire, Assumption and Adelphi rank first, second and third through the first 18 holes of play.
