Saint Anselm has won six games in a row, improving to 6-2 against NE10 foes while compiling a 13-10 overall record. The Hawks have won 11 of the last 12 meetings with Southern New Hampshire, who has also won six games in a row to build a 12-12 overall mark and a 6-2 league record.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Saint Anselm is ranked 27th in NCAA Division II with a 96.9% fielding percentage, trailing only two other NE10 programs in that metric – Franklin Pierce (98.1%) and Pace (97.4%).
- In the six-game winning streak for Saint Anselm, senior Bre Klaiber (Ironton, Ohio) is batting .500 (9-for-18), posting four extra-base hits while driving in 10 runs to lea the team. In the circle, sophomore Haile Hicks (Jefferson, N.H.) is 4-0 with 29 strikeouts in 25.2 innings of work – she has issued just five walks.
- Klaiber led Saint Anselm with three hits in six at-bats in the doubleheader with Saint Rose on Tuesday. Freshman Julia Howse (North Reading, Mass.) was 2-for-4 in game one, stealing a base, and classmate Ava Caputo (Waterford, N.Y.) picked up three hits and scored three runs in two games.
- Hicks and freshman Sophia DiPippo (Cranston, R.I.) were each victorious in the circle for Saint Anselm versus the Golden Knights. Hicks came on in relief to save game two, striking out a total of 14 batters across nine innings of work – her 11 strikeouts in game one was a career-high total.
- Klaiber has reached base in 10 consecutive games, the longest streak of the season for Saint Anselm and the longest active streak entering Saturday's doubleheader. Senior Bailey Cain (Wellington, Fla.) reached base in eight straight contests earlier this season.
- Across the last 44 true road games (contests played at the home field of the opponent), the Hawks own a 39-5 overall record – only one of those defeats was by three runs (L 3-0, 03/21/21 at New Haven) and the rest were one run losses.
SCOUTING SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE
- Southern New Hampshire opened its season with six consecutive losses in North Carolina, losing three of those games via run rule in just five or six innings. Since returning to the Northeast, the Penmen have won eight out of their first 10 games – both losses have come to Adelphi.
- Bella Dickinson and Chloe Griffin both lead Southern New Hampshire with .307 batting averages. Each has collected 23 hits in 75 at-bats to date. The duo has also combined for 25 runs batted in for the Penmen.
- Three Penmen pitchers have thrown at least 35 innings to date. Gwyn Hammond has a 3.13 earned-run average and a 6-3 record in the circle, striking out 19 batters in 53.2 innings. Leine McKechnie has made 10 starts, striking out 30 batters in 60-plus frames.
- With a win over Pace on Mar. 26, long-time Penmen Head Coach Deb Robitaille captured her 400th career victory with Southern New Hampshire. The four-time NE10 Coach of the Year has helped the Penmen to 13 postseason appearances within conference play.
