Saint Anselm enters play on Saturday with an overall record of 20-13 alongside a 13-5 record in Northeast-10 Conference play. With a win over Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, the Hawks have now won at least 20 games for the sixth time in the last eight full seasons under Head Coach Jill Gagnon.

American International carries a 3-29 overall record into Saturday's doubleheader, winning one of its 16 games in league play. The Yellow Jackets have lost 14 in a row and remain in search of their first road victory since last season's NE10 postseason.

Assumption, who plays two games at Southern New Hampshire on Saturday, begins the weekend with an overall mark of 13-20. The team is 10-6 versus NE10 opponents to date and has a five-game winning streak to start the series with the Penmen on Saturday.

This weekend's games are set to be the final regular-season home contests for Saint Anselm. The two Hawks seniors, Bre Klaiber (Ironton, Ohio) and Bailey Cain (Wellington, Fla.), will be honored with a pre-game ceremony prior to the noontime game against American International on Saturday.

  • In an 11-inning, 5-4 victory over Franklin Pierce to open Wednesday's NE10 doubleheader, sophomore Haile Hicks (Jefferson, N.H.) threw over 180 pitches, earning the win while setting career-high marks in pitches thrown (182), strikes thrown (127), strikeouts (14) and innings pitched (11). She remains the NE10 leader in pitching victories (16) this season, tying with Adelphi's Claire Fon.
  • Junior Kylie Fitzpatrick (Danville, N.H.) logged four hits on the day against Franklin Pierce, giving her 100 hits during her stellar Saint Anselm career.
