Saint Anselm enters the games against Adelphi with a 7-8 overall record while Adelphi brings a 13-7 mark into play on Saturday. Saturday's slate of games is the Northeast-10 Conference opener for both programs and is a rematch of both the 2019 and 2021 league championship series, both won by Saint Anselm.
The reigning NCAA Division II East Region Champions, Saint Anselm has won three of their final five games on the team's second and final Florida trip of the season, logging a 6-0 shutout victory over Minnesota-Crookston in the most recent game played on Sunday, Mar. 20.
Adelphi has won nine of its last 10 games, including back-to-back shutouts of Saint Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday, Mar. 22. The Panthers outscored the Spartans by a commanding 16-0 margin, winning the first game of the doubleheader by an 11-0 margin in five innings.
Pace owns a 5-3 overall record entering Saturday's game at Southern New Hampshire. The Setters and Hawks will renew acquaintances for the first time since a 2-0 loss in the NE10 postseason on May 4, 2018. That loss preceded a dominant run for the Hawks through the 2018 NCAA Division II East Region Championship and culminated in an NCAA Division II National Championship series appearance.
SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Saint Anselm enters the game with a 141-42 (.770) overall record since the start of the 2017 season. In that span, the Hawks have won two NCAA Division II East Region titles (2018, 2021), finished as the East Region runner-up (2019) and played in the National Championship series in 2018.
- Dating back to the 2017 season under Head Coach Jill Gagnon, the Hawks are 46-5 (.902) in games played at the South Athletic Fields. Saint Anselm enjoys a nine-game winning streak in the regular season when playing at home.

SCOUTING ADELPHI
