MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior Morgan Perry (Bethany, Conn.) of the nationally-ranked Saint Anselm College softball team captured her second Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Week honor this season on Monday.

Perry and the Hawks are currently ranked 16th in all of Division II, according to National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Coaches' Poll. This marks Perry's ninth career Pitcher of the Week honor from the NE10. She has now earned the most Pitcher of the Week honors by a Hawks student-athlete in program history.

On Saturday against Bentley, Perry fanned a career-high 17 strikeouts in her game one victory, setting the program's single-game strikeout mark. Perry opened the first game by striking out the first five of seven batters in the first two innings. Perry would close the contest with four strikeouts, securing the Hawks 3-0 win. She allowed just five hits over a full seven innings pitched, earning her third win of the season.

Over three appearances in 2021, Perry has struck out 48 batters, ranking within the top three spots in the NE10 and has not yielded a single run in those contests. Perry also tied for the lead in the NE10 with the lowest ERA with 0.00 along with her teammate McKenna Smith (Old Town, Maine).

The Hawks will finish their four-game series with Bentley on Monday, Apr. 5, starting at 3 p.m.
