HOOKSETT, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team opened its 2026-27 season with a 6-1 setback against Southern New Hampshire University in Northeast 10 Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Mark A. Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.

- Murphy fell to den Besten, 0-6, 0-6, at No. 5.
- Patterson dropped an 0-6, 0-6 decision to Armannsdottir at No. 4.
- Upson was defeated by Barbara Brito, 1-6, 0-6, at No. 3.
- Slowe was defeated by Dusseljee, 1-6, 0-6, at No. 6.
- Kochenbach fell to Tsui, 0-6, 0-6, at No. 2.
- Makarenko earned Saint Anselm's lone point of the afternoon, defeating Abadzic, 6-4, 2-6, 14-12, at No. 1.
