NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released its Division II All-Region teams on Wednesday afternoon, with three members of the Saint Anselm College program, junior Alyssa Hill, sophomore Ayla McDermod, and senior Elyse Scales, earning East Region Second Team selections.

Hill put together a stellar junior season as she recorded 37 goals and 56 assists over 18 games played to set the program's single-season points record with 93. She also became the program's all-time leader in career assists, finishing the season with 102. She was also named to the All-Northeast 10 Conference First Team as she finished conference play second in assists per game (3.00) and fourth in points per game (4.89). Over the regular season, Hill registered five or more points on 10 occasions, including a six-goal, four-assist performance against Quincy University and a pair of seven-point outings against Bentley University and Franklin Pierce University.

McDermod played in all 18 games as a sophomore, registering 68 points with 56 goals to her credit. She also added a team-high 72 draw controls and 37 ground balls. She posted five-goal performances in wins over Rollins College, Bentley, and American International College. McDermod finished tied-fifth in the NE10 in ground balls per game and 11th in draw controls per game to earn All-NE10 First Team honors.

Scales earned an All-NE10 Second Team nod for her strong defensive play, which also resulted in being selected the conference's Defensive Player of the Week midway through the season. The senior capped off her career with 40 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers over the 18-game slate as she helped the Hawks to a clearing percentage of 85.7%.
