How it Happened
After a 1-2-3 first for Bergen, the Hawks offense came out of the gates on fire, rattling off five hits, including two doubles, in the bottom of the first to build an early 4-0 lead.

Wrinn recorded her second RBI of the game with a single to center in the second inning that increased the Hawks' lead to five. Bentley began to rally, scoring three runs in the top of the third to make it a two-run game, 5-3.

The lead shrank to one after a double for the Falcons in the top of the fourth, but Saint Anselm responded in a big way as Salafia launched a homer to right center, driving in three runs to put the Hawks back up by four, 8-4. The Hawks weren't done, with four singles, a walk, and an error by the Falcons fueling a massive inning for Saint Anselm as the team led 13-4 after the fourth.

Bentley managed to score once in the fifth, but Bergen finished out the complete game, securing the five-inning win for the Hawks, 13-5.
