MANCHESTER, N.H. – Behind 11 different goal scorers and a six-goal first quarter, the No. 21 Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team rolled past D'Youville University, 19-9, in a non-conference matchup on Saturday at Grappone Stadium.

How it Happened
Saint Anselm wasted little time asserting control, opening the game with a 6-2 first-quarter edge. The Hawks' offense stayed efficient in the second, taking an 11-5 lead into halftime after another five-goal frame.
Out of the break, the Hawks continued to separate, scoring five more times in the third quarter while limiting D'Youville to just two goals. Rowley capped the third-quarter scoring to make it 16-7, helping Saint Anselm carry full momentum into the final 15 minutes.
The Hawks added three more markers in the fourth, including a free-position strike from Rowley and late insurance tallies to put the game out of reach. Saint Anselm's defense tightened in the final period, allowing just two goals while controlling possession with a perfect clearing performance.
