KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sophomore guard
Will Davies and senior guard
Josh Morissette have been named to the 2025-26 NABC Division II All-District First and Second Teams out of the East, the organization announced on Monday.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II. Davies and Morissette both make their All-District debuts, with Davies earning First Team and Morissette earning Second Team accolades in the East. The East district comprises member institutions from the Northeast 10, East Coast Conference (ECC), and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
Davies, who has already been named NE10 Player of the Year, D2 CCA East Region Player of the Year, NE10 All-Conference First Team, D2 CCA All-East Region First Team, and NE10 All-Tournament Team, adds another distinction to his resume.
Davies becomes the 23rd NABC All-District First Team selection in program history and the first since
Tyler Arbuckle '24 earned the honor in back-to-back seasons from 2022-24. Morissette is just the third Hawk to be voted onto the second team, and the first since 2010.
Davies was a key factor in the Hawks' historic season, ending with an appearance in the East Region Championship in the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship. The Hawks fell to the No. 4 team in the country and the No. 1 seed in the region, Daemen University, finishing with a 25-8 record and a 14-4 mark in the NE10, after winning the NE10 Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
Davies ranked second in the country with 7.1 assists per game, leading the NE10, and his 235 assists are the fourth-most in a single season by a Hawk in program history, and his 7.1 average is the eighth-best all-time. Davies was also sixth in the NE10 in total blocked shots, swatting 24, ranking second on the Hawks.
The sophomore from Saco, Maine, averaged 13.7 points per game, the second-best mark on the team, while ranking 11th in the conference. Shooting an efficient 51.6% clip from the field, Davies sits at eighth in the NE10 and fourth at Saint Anselm in field goal percentage. Davies scored in double-figures in 22 straight games to end the season, totaling 28 double-digit scoring efforts out of his 33 starts.
Morissette, who was an NE10 First Team All-Conference and D2CCA All-East Region Second Team honoree, made his NABC All-District Team debut as he made the Second Team. The Hawks' senior captain led the team in scoring, averaging 17.8 points per game, the third-best mark in the NE10.
Morissette set a pair of program records this season, finishing with 119 three-pointers made, surpassing the previous record of 106 set in 2013-14, while also finishing with the highest free-throw percentage by a Hawk all-time, shooting 88.0% (263-299) from the line in his four seasons at the collegiate level. His 287 career threes rank third all-time for a Saint Anselm player.
Morissette finished the season shooting 45.2% from the field and 43.6% from long range, the second-best mark from deep in the conference. Morissette led the team with one 30-point game, 13 20-point games, and 29 double-digit scoring games. Morissette tallied at least 10 points in 22 straight games to close out the year, and his 112-124 (90.3%) from the charity stripe was the top percentage in the NE10, and the second-best mark in program history in a single season.
