MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's basketball team fell to Saint Michael's College, 66-55, at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup on Tuesday.

How it Happened
Forbes scored six of the first 10 points while Saint Michael's made just three of its first 10 shots as the Hawks led 10-7 early in the first. Four straight makes for the Purple Knights culminated in an 8-0 run as Saint Michael's took a 15-10 advantage, but a pair of threes for the Hawks brought the game level, with the score tied at 16-16 after one quarter.
After a basket from Forbes to open the quarter, the Purple Knights had a 9-4 run to build a five-point lead, 27-22. Saint Michael's continued to lead at the break, 33-27.
Trapped opened the second half with a pair of three-pointers to tie the game at 33-33, but the Purple Knights rattled off a 15-2 run, taking their largest lead of the game at 48-35. Saint Anselm ended the quarter strong, bringing their deficit back to six, 52-46, heading into the fourth.
The Purple Knights made four of their first six shots in the quarter to go back up by double-digits, 60-50. Saint Michael's held on to the lead for the remainder of the game to pick up the win, 66-55.
