EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Saint Anselm College women's bowling traveled to East Providence, R.I. on Sunday where they competed in the New England Cup. The Hawks put up a win against Merrimack in baker play, while giving strong finishes in traditional play.
How it Happened
The Hawks started off the day in a traditional match against Merrimack College, winning 778-722.
Saint Anselm faced Sacred Heart University, dropping that match 912-771.
In their final traditional game, the Hawks faced the host team, Bryant University, falling short, 1084-885.
The Hawks faced Merrimack once again in their baker match, winning 889-714.
Sophomore Ashlee Hess led the squad in the individual standings with a seventh-place finish. She was followed by freshman Caroline Smead in ninth, and junior Callie Goulet in tenth.

The Hawks travel to Greensboro, N.C. where they will compete in the Stallings invitational, Nosted by North Carolina A&T from Feb. 27 to March 1.
