NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Saint Anselm College men's soccer graduate goalkeeper David Hood has been named the Northeast 10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Hood played all 180 minutes in goal for the Hawks across two conference matchups, totaling 17 saves while allowing just two goals. He finished the week with a 1.00 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage.

Hood recorded eight saves in Saint Anselm's 2-1 victory over No. 21 Franklin Pierce on Wednesday before adding nine saves in a narrow 1-0 loss to American International on Saturday. He faced 44 shots across the two contests, helping the Hawks secure a key conference victory over their nationally ranked rival.

Saint Anselm has clinched a berth in the Northeast 10 Conference Championship and will begin postseason play on Saturday, Oct. 31. The Hawks' opponent, seeding and game time are still to be determined.
