LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced its Division II All-Region and All-America teams, and Saint Anselm College was once again well represented. Seven Hawks were honored in the North Region, with six of those standouts also earning national All-America recognition.
Junior Colby Goodchild (Reading, Mass.) led the way with First Team North Region and Second Team All-America honors. The short-stick defensive midfielder, already a First Team selection in both the NE10 and NEILA, totaled 29 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers this season. He added eight ground balls and four caused turnovers across three NCAA Tournament appearances, and even netted his first career goal in the Hawks' first-round win over Bentley.
Junior Quinn Gannon (Scituate, Mass.) earned a Second Team nod in the North Region and was named to the All-America Third Team. One of the nation's top faceoff specialists, Gannon won 169 draws at a 64.0% success rate—the second-best single-season mark in program history. His 112 ground balls tied former All-American Craig Yannone '24 for the most in a season by a Hawk, and his 8.0 ground balls per game set a new program single-season record.
Junior Chris Claflin (Newton, Mass.) was named Second Team All-Region and earned an Honorable Mention All-America nod from the USILA—his second career All-America honorable mention. The dynamic attacker led the team with 31 assists, more than doubling his total from last season, and ranked seventh on the program's all-time single-season assists list. He dished out a season-high five helpers in the win over Adelphi on April 5.
Freshman Matt Lemay (Westminster, Mass.) continued his breakout campaign with Second Team All-Region and All-America Honorable Mention recognition. The NE10 Co-Rookie of the Year and First Team honoree led the Hawks in goals (41) and points (55), notching five game-winning goals, 14 multi-goal games, and nine hat tricks. He also contributed 22 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Senior Will Andrews (Cumberland, R.I.) joined the group with Second Team All-Region and All-America Honorable Mention honors. A consistent force in the midfield, Andrews tallied 24 goals, six assists, and four game-winners this spring—career highs across the board—while also scooping up 15 ground balls and causing four turnovers.
Sophomore goalie Finn Granara (Reading, Mass.) was recognized with Third Team All-Region and Honorable Mention All-America honors after anchoring the defense with an 8.09 goals-against average—the third-lowest single-season mark in team history. He finished with 13 wins in 15 starts, tying the program's single-season record for victories.
Senior attacker Colin Mulvey (Reading, Mass.) rounded out Saint Anselm's honorees with a North Region Honorable Mention. The veteran attacker wrapped up his career with 63 appearances—third-most in program history—and 118 points on 82 goals and 36 assists.
This marks the second consecutive season that five or more Hawks have earned All-America honors, and the fifth straight year the program has placed at least five players on the All-Region team. With numerous potential returners from this list next season, the streak is likely to continue into 2026 — along with Saint Anselm's place among Division II's elite.
