NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Three student-athletes from the Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) East Region teams. Senior Elizabeth Driscoll (Marblehead, Mass.) earned a spot on the All-East Region First Team, while sophomore Lucy Mawn (Harwich, Mass.) and junior Elyse Scales (Walpole, Mass.) were selected to the Second Team. This marks Driscoll's third career All-Region honor, while Mawn and Scales become the 12th and 13th players in program history to receive the recognition.

Driscoll may need a bigger trophy case: this is her third IWLCA All-Region selection and her second time landing on the First Team. She is the first player in program history to earn All-Region honors three times. She was also named the Northeast-10 (NE10) Goalkeeper of the Year for the second time and secured a spot on the All-NE10 First Team—her third All-Conference selection.

Driscoll has had a stellar season in goal for the Hawks, leading the NE10 and ranking third in NCAA Division II with a .521 save percentage (among goalies with at least 10 games played). She ranks second in the conference with 10.26 saves per game and is one of only 22 goalies nationwide averaging at least 10 saves per contest; that number also ranks third most in a single season in program history.  Her 10.25 goals-against average is the third-best in the NE10 (minimum 10 games played).

Starting all 19 games for Saint Anselm this spring, Driscoll logged over 1,047 minutes in goal. A USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-American, she also led the team with 45 ground balls and recorded a career-high 13 caused turnovers. A three-time NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week this season, Driscoll reached two major milestones: she surpassed 500 career saves—now second-most in program history—and set a new program record with 36 career victories, four more than the previous mark.

Mawn, who also earned All-NE10 Second Team honors, elevated her play for Saint Anselm this season. The midfielder leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference with 90 draw controls—the fourth-highest single-season total in program history. She has scored 25 goals (one of seven Hawks to reach the 20-goal mark) and added nine assists for a career-best 34 points. Her six free-position goals are tied for second on the team. Mawn also contributed 12 caused turnovers and 20 ground balls.

Scales, also an All-NE10 Second Team selection, anchored the Hawks' defense throughout the season. She collected 26 ground balls and forced 22 turnovers, tying for eighth-most in a single-season in program history. The defensive unit has been a major strength for Saint Anselm, ranking third in the NE10 in goals-against average (9.89) and second in caused turnovers per game (10.42). Scales started all 19 games on the back line, added her first two career assists, and recorded eight draw controls.
