ORLANDO, Fla. – The Saint Anselm College women's bowling team wrapped up competition at the Destination Florida Tournament hosted by Sacred Heart University, with two victories on the final day of action.
How It Happened
The Hawks entered the final day following two days of traditional and Baker matches. In the opening round, Saint Anselm earned their first win of the weekend, defeating Alabama State University in Baker play by a score of 825-805.
The winning streak continued for Saint Anselm heading into match two against Florida A&M University. The Hawks bested the Rattlers of Florida A&M University in the best-of-seven Baker series, 4-0.
The Hawks closed the weekend with a loss to Emmanuel University, falling 4.5-2.5 in the best-of-seven Baker's match. The Hawks finished the final day of competition in 22nd place out of 24 teams.
