MANCHESTER, N.H. – Senior Millie Forster and sophomore Ruby Reid each recorded two goals as the No. 9 Saint Anselm College field hockey team routed Northeast 10 opponent Mercy University, 8-0, on Senior Day at Grappone Stadium.

How it Happened
Forster was able to put the Hawks on the board just 57 seconds into the contest, scoring on a feed from classmate Marissa Politano. Bella DiFiore made it a 2-0 game ten minutes later, scoring on an assist from fellow freshman Breanna Shorey. Reid was able to extend the Hawks' lead to three goals before the end of the first quarter on an unassisted tally.
Reid added her second of the game to make it 4-0 in favor of Saint Anselm 3:19 before halftime.
Senior Ellie Brothers produced Saint Anselm's fifth goal of the game just 5:13 into the second half before sophomore Kelly Holmes made it a six-goal lead just over five minutes later on an assist from Brothers.
Forster registered her second goal of the afternoon 4:05 into the fourth quarter with a helper coming from junior Olivia Baran to make it 7-0. Freshman Ayla Lagasse scored on an assist from classmate Audrey Payeur with 3:39 to play to round out the scoring

The Hawks (12-5, 9-2 NE10) will look to round out their regular season with a fifth consecutive victory on Tuesday, Oct. 28 when they travel across the city to take on Southern New Hampshire University (11-4, 7-2 NE10). A 7:00 p.m. start time is scheduled from Larkin Field.
