STRUTHERS, Ohio – The Saint Anselm women's bowling team wrapped up competition at the 2025 Chelsea Gilliam Penguin Classic on Sunday, finishing 18th overall in the event's Championship Bracket.
How It Happened
The Hawks entered bracket play following two days of traditional and Baker matches. In round one, the Hawks secured their third victory over the Cavaliers of Walsh University (Ohio), 4-2.
Saint Anselm then faced Alabama A&M University in the second round, falling 4-1.
In the third and final round, the Hawks faced a rematch with Walsh University (Ohio) and narrowly fell in a tightly contested 4-3 match to close out the tournament.

The Saint Anselm women's bowling team will return to action on Friday, Oct. 24, traveling to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the Destination Florida Tournament hosted by Sacred Heart University.
