Tatum Forbes (Pawtucket, R.I.) recorded her third-straight double-double as the Hawks dominated Northeast-10 opponent Franklin Pierce by a 67-40 final score.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first bucket of the first quarter would come from the visiting Ravens are their big presence in the paint graduate student Colette Mulderig would back down Melanie Hoyt (Stamford, N.Y.) for two. The Hawks would respond with their own lay-up from senior Katie Lemanski (Haymarket, Va.) who finished with an one off of a feed from teammate Addisen Sulikowski (Saco, Maine.). Franklin Pierce would go on to take the first lead of the game with Janessa Gonzalez and Sara Macary each tabbing buckets for the 7-3 advantage. Saint Anselm would find their motor as freshman Avery Romps (Greenland, N.H.) grabbed a lay-up and triple to put the Hawks up 10-9 with just over 3-minutes to go. Junior Tatum Forbes (Pawtucket, R.I.) would grab the last bucket of the quarter with a successful trip to the charity stripe and give the Hawks a 12-9 lead.
- Forbes would continue her success into the second quarter tallying the first score on a pull jump in the paint. Saint Anselm would continue to dominant as Elise MacNair (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) made her return to the court scoring back-to-back-to-back buckets for the Hawks with two lay-ups and a triple, giving them their biggest lead so far at 12 points. With just over three minutes remaining Sulikowski would catch heat behind the arch, notching two triples to aid the Saint Anselm squad up to a 32-13 lead. Saint Anselm ended the half on a high note as senior Marta Pons Gomez (Sevilla, Spain) would pick off a pass and feed Anna Nelson (Gorham, Maine) in transition who hammered home a lay-up as the buzzer would sound. The Hawks would go into halftime outscoring the Ravens 22-5 in the quarter with a 34-14 lead.
- Franklin Pierce came out of the break going on a 7-2 run off of a made triple from GeAnna Bryant and push in pace from Gonzalez. Forbes would respond for Saint Anselm grabbing five straight points for the Hawks. The Ravens would cut the lead down to 13 with a dominant paint presence from Mulderig, but MacNair would counter going on her own five point run to bring the lead back to 18. To end the third Forbes would tally another five as she would bring the lead back to 20 with another pair of lay-ups.
- The Ravens would grab the first bucket of the fourth quarter before Hoyt would come back in for the Hawks and tally back-to-back lay-ins from Forbes. The Hawks would continue to keep their feet on the gas maintaining a 20-point cushion for the remainder of the final quarter. The largest lead came with Bella Vaz (Danvers, Mass.) first collegiate points giving Saint Anselm the 27-point victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Forbes (6-17 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3-5FT) led the offensive strike and filled the stat sheet scoring 15 points, grabbing 11 boards to go along with five assists. MacNair (6-8 FG, 2-4 3PT) made her return to the floor grabbing 14 points, two rebounds and two assists.
- Saint Anselm shot 40-9% from the floor going 27-66 attempts, and 37.5% from beyond the arch going 6-16.
- The Hawks registered 30 bench points on the evening to go along with 14 second chance points.
