Women's Tennis Falls to New Haven on Saturday, 6-1

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team dropped their contest against the University of New Haven on Saturday by a 6-1 final.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Saint Anselm began the match down after falling in all three doubles contests to New Haven.
  • The Hawks found some success with a win in singles action. Picking up the lone win of the day was junior Irene Garbo (Sardinia, Italy), who beat Valentinna Ferrarini 6-1, 6-7, 10-7 in the No. 1 slot.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Garbo picked up her sixth singles win in a row and maintained her undefeated in conference record.
